Not Really My First Post

Ok, I am back. I have to start somewhere, so here goes.

I have made the decision to start blogging again, I have not done so in probably almost 10 years. I first wrote a blog post in October of 2004 and in 2007 I sold that blog, to Anita Campbell of fame.

Blogging was a new form of website at the time and we both wanted to learn how it worked and understand how blogs could be leveraged for a business and as a business. I learned so much from Anita, she had a dream and a vision and I got to ride along for awhile to learn.

We ended up expanding our learning efforts to trying to understand Podcasts, we first podcasted our show in November of 2004. Man was it crude to try and get two hosts and a guest to be recorded on a phone call. We muddled along for a couple of years until Blogtalk came along. You can still find hours and hours worth of free, timeless, small business content on that site.

I was a big fan of The Daily Source Code (DSC) a podcast by Adam Curry, I learned what was possible, how free it could be, you could control your own content and be your own media star, YES, this is in 2004. I bet you thought Podcasts were a new thing, nope, just the next natural disruptive innovation brought on by the internet.
