Leadership
For undertaking leadership responsibilities, Steve displays strong dynamics. He is likely to be comfortable giving direction, offering performance feedback, and providing training. He is apt to pursue his objectives in a results-oriented fashion and motivate others toward active participation. His persuasive drive and focus on getting timely results indicate that he would sell his ideas up front rather than dictate.
Steve could utilize his empath to assess his staff members’ concerns and then use persuasion to link their interests to his directives. Furthermore, if he is up against resistance, he is inclined to stand his ground. However, he does not seem particularly aggressive and may be somewhat selective in the battles he undertakes.
Interpersonal
Steve’s dynamics suggest that he can establish and maintain working relationships. He seems able to put his own vies aside and assess situations from different perspectives. He is apt to use his empathy to help him get along with those around him, address individual requirements, and contribute to shared goals.
Moreover, his profile indicates a motivation to interact with others on a frequent basis. Steve should be able to take social initiative, when necessary, and he apparently enjoys having an opportunity to go beyond the small talk and stage and get to know people on a personal basis. In general, he appears capable of accommodating service requests, but he is unlikely to focus on this component.
Problem Solving/Decision Making
Steve should be able to use his analytical skill and conceptual orientation to generate new ideas and develop innovative strategies. His likely to learn new information quickly, grasp complex or intangible issues, and enjoy handling analytic activities. In addition, he seems to view events from a big-picture perspective, and he is inclined to break new ground and introduce changes. However since Steve might be somewhat impulsive, he may need to slow down to ensure that he does not make hasty decision or gloss over the fine print.
Personal Organization/Time Management
When orchestrating his time, Steve is likely to be a task juggler who takes initiative and moves rapidly toward the bottom line. He is apt to appreciate the freedom to call the shots and to shuffle activities based on changing work demands.
However, he may not have the patience to deal with detail and might seek greater challenge in his daily work, perhaps even seeking distraction on occasion. Steve could benefit from being more accurate in his follow-up documentation, and to this end it might be helpful to elicit his buy-in to the organization’s quality standards.
Summary
Steve seems bright and is inclined to be a creative problem solver. His strong performance on the abstract reasoning section of the test and his creative approach to problem solving suggest he can understand complex information.
He is likely to seize fleeting opportunities and handle his workload quickly. Apparently resilient, he is apt to rebound from routine setbacks or criticisms. He prefers an environment where is given a great deal of autonomy; nonetheless, he seems to be an attentive listener who is able to adapt his course in response to changing circumstances or needs.
However, he is apt to gravitate toward the challenging components of the role and might not have much patience for routine details. He may have to pay more attention to the fine points and be more cautious when making important decisions.
